Each of our Oyster Shells has been hand picked off the Bayside Shores of Cape Cod, MA. The shells are gathered, then carefully cleaned and sun dried. All of these beauties measure about 2.75 to 3.5 inches long. 

As you may have already guessed, all shells will have imperfections as they used to be a home to a small animal... and no two will ever be the same. The size, shape and imperfections of each one will vary and that is what makes each shell a true one of a kind keepsake.

After we have applied the design and then seal it with couple coats of a glossy top coat, we carefully gold leaf the edges and leave the back of the shell in it's natural state. 

These designs have been created here in our studio and we take our time to carefully craft each individual shell.
